KnockKnock-005056b70bb8You would think that after John Wick, people would know better than to knock on Keanu Reeves’ door at night, especially after he was holding a cute dog just before that. Clearly Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas didn’t get the memo as director Eli “Hostel” Roth’s latest flick, Knock Knock, sees the lady duo looking to do some bad things to Mr. Reeves, after they won his confidence by… well, doing some bad things to him, if you know what I mean. Luckily for them, Reeves also appears to have forgotten all about his badassery making for an interesting game of cats and mouse.

Roth seems to be swapping the gore that made his name for some straight-up, good ol’ psychological suspense here, and based on the mostly positive buzz that’s come out of the film festivals where Knock Knock has already played, it seems to be working for him. The film’s getting close to it’s wide release now, and with that a new trailer has dropped. Check it out below.

When a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend, two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help. What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse. A sexy new thriller from director Eli Roth and written by Eli Roth, Nicolás López and Guillermo Amoedo, KNOCK KNOCK stars Keanu Reeves as the family man who falls into temptation and Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas as the seductresses who wreak havoc upon his life, turning a married man’s dark fantasy into his worst nightmare.

Knock Knock is out on VOD and in limited theatres on October 9, 2015.
