The current Black Friday specials may have everyone frothing at the mouth over crazy prices, but I’m more excited for Monday. And not because of Cyber Monday either, or the fact that my salary will have finally cleared, but because tickets for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will officially open for sale.

As of 09h00 on the 28th of November, you’ll be able to get your advance tickets booked and be some of the first in South Africa to experience this year’s Star Wars release. It might not be one of the “main” films, but Rogue One is already expected to make pots of money. Because duh, it’s Star Wars.

With the movie hitting our cinemas from Thursday 15th December, and the next day being a public holiday, I expect those early tickets will sell out fast. Check out the website on rogueone.co.za, where you’ll be able to add reminders to your calendars so you don’t forget to buy your tickets. As if you could forget! You can also hit up their official Facebook page for trailers, posters and upcoming hype generation.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be showing in 3D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.

Uhm. The site says there are no tickets anywhere in ZA. Like nowhere. I even tried Cape Town just for a laugh.
