…Or at least a very thinly-veiled parody of the iconic spymaster. From Brit neighbourhood gangster, to an anti-semetic eastern European journalist, gay fashion icon and a dictator of note, Cohen has taken on wide variety of roles in his career.
But as a servant for the Queen, protecting England from whatever threats are present? That might be a bit of a stretch audiences to believe, which is why a satirical edge might make this the perfect vehicle for him.
The actor and writer has just sold a pitch to Paramount Studios, that will be based on “a James Bond-like spy forced to go on the run with his long-lost brother, a moronic soccer hooligan.”
