Kill-Me-Three-Times-Simon-Pegg

Wait wait, hang on a minute. Kill Me Three Times has Simon Pegg as an incredibly British assassin with a Tom Selleck moustache who runs around with some enormous guns and there’s general murder and chaos and humour and bloody revenge. How have I not heard about this movie before?!

Directed by Kriv Stenders (Red Dog, Boxing Day) and produced by the same team behind Death at a Funeral, Kill Me Three Times looks like a Tarantino-esque tale of assassinations and double/triple crossing, with Simon Pegg playing the comedic yet bad-ass kind of role we all know and love from the legendary Cornetto Trilogy. Be warned though, the trailer looks like it gives away quite a lot of the plot, and obviously it’s got some NSFW content.

A mercurial assassin discovers he isn’t the only person trying to kill the siren of a sun-drenched surfing town. In this darkly comedic thriller, the hitman finds himself unravelling three tales of mayhem, murder, blackmail and revenge.

That looks seriously slick, and witty to boot. I just hope they haven’t used all the best lines for the trailer, as movies so often do.

Starring Simon Pegg, Teresa Palmer, Alice Braga, Luke Hemsworth, Sullivan Stapleton, and Bryan Brown, Kill Me Three Times has no local release info yet, but it will be out internationally on March 26 2015.
