It’s the weekly wrap, it’s the weekly wrap! We’ve got fart jokes and dick gags inside, no sense of morality and even less scruples, because it’s the weekly wrap, it’s the weekly wrap! Holy hell, do I su-uck at writing these jingles for the weekly wrap!
I don’t think words alone can accurately sum up the love we have for Polish developer CDPR. And it’s because of these no-DRM statements that we adore the chaps behind The Witcher 3.
Say what you like about the upcoming Command and Conquer, but after playing it at E3, I was convinced that the game was actually pretty damn good. It was pure CnC in the Generals style of gameplay, and Victory Games had some great ideas for the F2P title.
Ideas that have now been kak-canned, along with them as EA has pulled the plug on that game.
Best ION Header
The lovely India Reynolds wins ION of the week, for having such a winning personality and a great taste in couches.
Wait, what’s this? I have most comments? I finally, finally have the most comments? With nary a smiling Geoff to be seen after he’s yet again trolled my noble efforts? I’m…I’m so happy. I can finally pass on, as my unfinished business on this mortal plane is done. Finally!
I’ve also got the least comments this week, five of ‘em in fact for Forza 5 (Poetic Justice!), but I’m still too giddy after finally getting the award above this one. Finally!
Batman Of The Week
Despite not owning the right kind of rubber, Geoff is your Batman for the week. Leaving Zoe to be his Aunt Harriet and yours truly as random goon #9.

Dammit Geoff, you know how I feel about pirate jokes. But in your case, I’ll make an exception.
Comment Of The Week
SargonTheGreatPandaOfAkkad, you deserve kudos for this gem today. And maybe a kilt.
"I am [Gamer X]. And I see a whole army of my [digital] countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny! You have come to fight as free men. And free men you are! What will you do without freedom? Will you fight?"
"Two thousand against [a multinational corporation]?" – one shouted. "No! We will
run – and [play AC4 as they intended]!"
"Yes!" [Gamer X] shouted back. "Fight and you may [suffer further DRM consequences]. Run and you will [certainly get to play single player], at least awhile. And dying in your bed many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they will never take our [single player] freedom!"
*Edit: Please recite in Scottish accent. 😉
