The Justice League reins might go to Snyder after all

It is quite safe to say that we are all extremely excited about the Man of Steel film that is coming our way very, very soon. Zack Snyder, with some assistance from a Nolan brother, seems to have crafted something rather exquisite for us but for now we bide our time till the film’s release to see whether the hype has done the film any justice. Having mentioned justice, it just seems fitting that our not so surprising news today involves just that!justice-league-photo

It has been hinted at that, pending the success of the Man of Steel, Zack Snyder might be made an offer to helm the proposed Justice League project as well – now, I’m not sure if they mean the Justice League film or the entire project, but it is going to be one hell of a task for whoever gets handed the reins.

Empire had the following to say:

“Warner Bros.’ long-term view has been revised to embrace this new vision,” …”just as the ‘Dark Knight’ films resisted the commodification of Marvel. Whether we get a ‘Justice League,’ they say, depends on ‘Man of Steel’. If we do, they say, Zack Snyder will be asked to direct.”

Holy Wonder Woman, Batman! If that’s true, Zack Snyder might soon be busier that Guillermo Del Toro, who seems to be the current reigning worhaholic in Hollywood. What do you guys think, with Snyder be a good fit for the Justice League? We still don’t know whether Warner Bros. will be jumping straight into the Justice League or if they will be doing a bit of cinematic universe building…I’m hoping for door number two but for now, we will just have to wait and see.

  1. The only director who could get me as excited for a Justice League movie as I was for the Avengers movie is Snyder.
