Fo shizzle my griddle? Thanks to my dawg Kervyniddle whackiddling my hizzle with a spazzle, I have a speechizzle disorder. While I indulgizzle back into my early 90s personizzle and go see a doctor of thuganomics, here’s some more heat on that Tupac Shukar movizzle that’s been floating around the Hollywoodizzle.
Looks like Tupac Shakur is joining a growing list of dead singers who are getting biopics. While Jimi Hendrix and Freddie Mercury make further headway with their own projects, the Tupac film has gone through more directors than his family has gone through remix albums.
According to Deadline though, Tupac has seen directors such as Antoine Fuqua and John Singleton depart, even though producers still want to get the movie rolling by 2014. Eddie Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft are busy working on a script right now, for a film that will have Tupac’s mom on board as a legacy-milker producer. One positive side of this film though, is that the musical rights for the Tupac library of music has been secured for this film. Something other biopics are still struggling with.
All the project needs right now is a director, star, crew and presumably a holographic drive-by shooting. Peace yo.
