We’ve already had a MARVEL-ous start to the day, so why not check in on the other guys? In this case we’re talking about Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse, which is set mutate our eyeballs when it lands next month.

And in anticipation a final trailer has been released which gives us plenty of hot mutant-on-mutant action, makes clear Mystique’s role in this adventure and just gets us super pumped for what is supposed to be the closing chapter of a story that began in X-Men: First Class.

Plus, we finally also get some confirmation that… Well, I’m not going to spoil it. Just make sure you watch this trailer all the way to the end!

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Snikt, snikt indeed! We would know those claws anywhere meaning that yes, we finally have proof that Hugh Jackman’s beloved Wolverine is still in desperate need of a manicure indeed showing up in this film.

Along with the trailer, Fox have also revealed these cool new banners for the movie. Click to enlarge.
