There's only one Tatiana Maslany in these ORPHAN BLACK season 2 trailers and character posters

If you’ve still not seen the brilliant first season of Orphan Black yet, then you will have to just to accept me constantly calling you unpleasant names for missing out on the near-voodoo like, breakthrough performance of Golden Globe nominated star Tatiana Maslany. It is one of the best showings by a lead actress on TV in ages, as Maslany tackles numerous roles simultaneously, playing (six? seven?) clones of herself. The fact that the rest of the show built around that performance also happens to be damn good, is just gravy.

After leaving us on a bit of cliffhanger last year, the show is back for a second season, which commences internationally in less than a week. So, of course, here are two new trailers for Season 2, which if you’re an Orphan Black doodoo head virgin (I did warn ya), you may want to avoid as it gives away a couple plot points .

You can check out the new character posters though, showing Maslany as the main clones – Sarah, Allison, Cosima and Rachel – along with the main people in their lives.

Orphan Black co-stars Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce, Kevin Hanchard, Michael Mando, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Évelyne Brochu and Matt Frewer, and will be debuting its second season on April 19, 2014.

The poses! The deep looks! The beautiful people! The hair!

I’ve never heard of this show, but shame on you for trying to snare me into something where it takes an hour to condition their hair…

Forget the blatant promo posing, it’s a damn good show. And like I said, worth it for Maslany’s performance alone.

I’ve heard this said about True Blood and Revolution too…

I don’t know who you’ve been talking to, but True Blood and Revolution has never drawn the type of critical praise that this regularly does.
