Last night I was lucky enough to attend a pre-showing of the rather scary Annebella, a prequel to the awesome Conjuring and in that same line of thought another prequel is rearing its ugly head, or horrific hear I suppose… This time it’s the third instalment in the horror series of Insidious, a movie I thoroughly enjoyed.
On the day the internet broke in half with the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron Focus Features released a teaser of their own, though probably a lot more scary than Marvel’s future smash hit movie. Insidious 3 is set prior to the events we have seen involving the Lambert family (the first two movies) and is written and directed by the co-creator Leigh Whannell.
This time round we follow the story of how psychic Elise rainier (Lin Shaye), who was also in the first two movies, uses her power to contact the dead to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott, Frenemies) who has the unwanted attention of something evil.
Pillow, check. Feet up, check. Spare trousers, check. Ready to watch scary trailer? Is that the telephone?
Insidious 3 also stars Dermot Mulroney is set to increase trouser sales by 1000% in May 2015.
