Every once in a while, you get a great duo of actors in Hollywood. Laurel and Hardy. Abbot and Costello. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, sometimes. Right now, Seth Rogen and James Franco have something going on, after having starred in Pineapple Express and This Is The End. I dig seeing those two together. And they’re going to be heading to North Korea in their next film.
In the action-comedy “The Interview,” Dave Skylark and his producer Aaron Rapoport run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.
Crude rude and starring two dudes. Yes, I’m a fan of this very specific genre of stoner comedy. The Interview stars James Franco, Seth Rogen, Lizzy Caplan, Randall Park. Rogen and Evan Goldberg direct for a December defection to the Western Satan cinemas.

I want to like this, but the trailer is a little bit cringe worthy.
