The master of the perfect 90 degree vertical running stance is back later this year, in Jack Reacher. And while the film has been shooting for quite a while now, details, video and pictures have been locked up tighter than the KFC recipe.
But now we finally have some footage of Cruise in action, as he lean mean machines his way through the action in this trailer. Slight problem though.

This one has come to the heartland from his own kind of hell. And Reacher knows that the only way to take him down is to match his ruthlessness and cunning—and then beat him shot for shot.
Based on the One Shot novel starring Reacher, a former Military Policeman wandering America and finding himself drawn into all manner of nasty business on a regular schedule.
And it’s all business so far in that trailer, as contrary to the literary version of the character which portrays Reacher as a hulking man-mountain, has Cruise laying on the head and wrist locks with surprising efficiency. Only time will tell though if Cruise makes for a decent silver screen version of the character.
Werner Herzog stars as the anti-Cruise in the film, with Rosamund Pike,Robert Duvall, Richard Jenkins and Michael Raymond-James rounding out the cast.
Jack Reacher will be out just before Christmas this year, because nothing says holiday spirit like a film centred on sniper killings and lone wanderers.
