Tony Stark is falling from grace in this new poster and TV tease for IRON MAN 3

Iron Man 3 is shaping up to be a film with perhaps too much going on. Tony Stark, Iron Patriot, the Mandarin, the Extremis virus and various other characters have been confirmed for the film, making it a busy movie indeed. Make no mistake, director Shane Black has his work cut out for him, but hell, if these new teasers are anything to go by, then the film is going to at least look stunning. First up, a new poster, where Stark has forgotten that the three point landing needs to be done with his legs and one arm. Not his face. That’s the poster that will be adorning bus shelters and various other outdoor places leading up the release of Iron Man 3. Which means that Tony Stark is going to have a lot of hobo urine on his face soon. Uurgh.

Next up, is a teaser spot for a TV spot, one of the worst ideas since sitcom laugh tracks. With the American foosball Superbowl tournament thingy kicking off, that piece of prime time TV real estate is always seen as a great time to hock some upcoming cinematic wares. So here you go, an entire ten seconds of Iron Man 3. If you squint hard, you may be able to pick out one or two new frames. The entire 60 second clip will be revealed on February 3.

Iron Man 3 is out on May 3, which means that I won’t be sharing a birthdate with Hitler for once. It stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley.

  1. Very much looking forward to this. To me, with the number of characters, it’s like they are competing with the Avengers…

I’m getting all giddy already. Better get my Iron Man pajamas out of the closet so long.
