GamesRadar.com has put together a list of 7 games that really should have been terrible but ended up being fantastic…
While I don’t agree with all of them, I mean they think The Sims was good… I hated that game… Anyway getting back on track, some of there other choices I do agree with.
My number 1 game that should have sucked and actually didn’t has to be Viva Pinata. That game was ridiculously addictive…
So which game was your suprise hit?

I agree with what they say about the Sims. Personally I don’t care for it, but I understand it’s impact. The Sims is a pretty damn complex game and it amazes me how many casual gamers have managed to get into it. But the thing I diagree with is simply that, THE SIMS IS NOT A GAME!!!
Puzzle Quest and Viva Pinata were both awesome.

I am re buying Viva Pinata, just to have it in my collection
and to get the last achievement.

LOL @ Ewie, I’m guessing that missing achievement is the “play for 50 hours one”.
I didn’t have a play/charge kit or wired controller. SO i’d watch tv and had to remember to keep hitting a button occasionally to prevent the controller from disconnecting. I’d played about 40 hours and had enough of pinatas!

I actually downloaded a few of the viva pinata videos when they were still available on the marketplace, and it
complement the game a lot, my kids love it, – just take up a lot of space on my hard disc. But some of the episodes
help you understand the game better,
