LEGO Batman

I have a lot of love for everything that has been shown about The LEGO Batman Movie so far. Almost to the point where it will probably suck as it is unlikely to live up the expectations it has set so far. The character represents the absolute antitheses of what you would expect Batman to be in real   life and the comedic charm really looks appealing. I’m just hoping they haven’t used up all the good stuff in the trailers and then we are left with a movie that has a lot less charm in it.

One promising sign is that there could be a lot more charm and fun that we haven’t seen yet is this new TV Spot that Warner Bros has just released for the movie, which promises more additional footage – and this time focusing a lot more on the bad guys we are going to see Batman take on with the rest of his Justice League companions.

You can view the extended TV Spot below:

And while this still looks good, a lot of the best parts of this trailer are stuff we have seen before. There is still enough talent behind it to give me hope that this is going to be the best Batman movie released in quite a while. And perhaps the most fun DC Comic film you are likely to see too.

Will Arnett reprises his role as Batman from The LEGO Movie and is joined by Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Mariah Carey as Gotham’s mayor, and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker. Chris McKay is directing the film from a script by Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter creator Seth Grahame-Smith.

The LEGO Batman Movie is opening in theaters on February 10, 2017 before the LEGO franchise further expands with The LEGO Ninjago Movie on September 22, 2017 and another LEGO sequel likely around 2018. It seems the most fun you can have with LEGO these days is no longer playing with them…
