I don’t know if you folks have noticed but ever since the 2010 Soccer World Cup, South Africa has really been put on the world map when it comes to movies. We’ve had a number of big productions being shot here recently (most notably Safe House, Dredd and Chronicle) with a lot of Hollywood bigwigs also being seen around town.

Well now you can add two more more big names to that list, as Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart will be dropping by at Montecasino for a special screening of Olympus Has Fallen, and for just one hundred blue  randelas you can join them.

Here’s the full press release from Nu Metro detailing how to meet up with ol’ Leonidas and Two-Face:

Johannesburg, March 18th, 2013: Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart, who will be visiting South Africa in April as part of a global tour to promote their new film, OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN, will now also participate in an exclusive Fan Event at Nu Metro Montecasino.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 9th and will include a screening of their latest film; OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN, followed by a Q&A session with Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart.

Tickets for this “hot-ticket event” will cost R100 per person and will include a Coke and Popcorn. Tickets will go on sale on Friday 22 March 2013 and will be available through numetro.co.za or at the box office at Nu Metro Montecasino.

The event begins at 18:30 for 19:00 and the Q&A with Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart will take place immediately after the film.

OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN releases at Nu Metro Cinemas on April 12th, 2013.

Olympus Has Fallen has been getting some pretty good early buzz from action movie fans, but to just to remind you of what you can expect, here’s the film’s extended trailer.

Now if one of you guys would just be so kind as to sponsor me an airline ticket from Cape Town to Johannesburg and a couch to sleep on (I’ll bring my own blankie and teddy), that would be real peachy.
