Batman-1-750

In an industry where trailers are actual news, you can bet your ass that we’ve been keeping an eye out for somebody to leak a few minutes of Batman V Superman. So while director Zack Snyder calls in a few Spartans left over from 300 to help him track down and murder whoever leaked the trailer for that superhero showdown flick, you can catch a leaked version, right here. Enjoy!

On the heels of the worldwide success of “Man of Steel,” director Zack Snyder is bringing together the two greatest Super Heroes of all time – Batman and Superman for the first time on the big screen.

I’m seeing a ton of stuff that I’m digging already. The new Batmobile. Jeremy Irons waxing on about justice and fairness as he steps into the suit of Alfred Pennyworth. And of course, Bat-Fleck having testicles the size of wrecking balls and promising that he’s going to make a very ticked off Superman bleed.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justin Bieber is out next year on March 25. I’ll be using the exact same threat that Batman does, when I ask Nick to make me coffee in the mornings.

  1. I gotta say, I’m torn. The tone is sooooooo dark and serious for this movie, something that DC has been widely accused of, and which I admit doesn’t feel very Superman-ny to me. As a Batman movie though? Hell freaking yeah!

Also, this seems to confirm rumours that all that wanton destruction that fans bitched about at the end of Man of Steel is being recognized and is in fact informing the story dramatically. I don’t know whether that was always planned that way, or something that Snyder and co adapted to when they saw the MoS backlash, but either way, well played.

And lastly, I expect tasteless tampon related “Do you bleed?!” memes to be popping up on the internet any second now.

I don’t know. I think this is Superman in Batman’s world, so the question is … is this a Superman or Batman movie?

I don’t mind a dark tone, but this looks literally darker than Daredevil. Whatever the case, the trailer is a lot more ‘meh’ than the other recent trailer reveals.

Well, it’s officially being billed as a Man of Steel sequel, despite Batman’s name appearing first. Either way, the grimness still doesn’t sit right. Superman and Batman are supposed to be virtually polar opposites character wise. Superman can’t just be Batman with powers in different clothes.

That’s the thing. I still feel Batman needs to be closer to the Hush side of things. A dark tone is good, but bleak for the sake of being bleak is a bit terrible. I think it needs to be like Hush.

God damn that looks awesome! A bit dark and the trend seems to be moving away from that these days, but I can buy that. Also, Afleck looks kick ass in that suit, much more aggressive and scary looking than the last iteration.

I like it. I’m surprised they went so far with the religious connotations.

It might be the quality of the teaser , but the hype train hasn’t picked me up yet.
