WWE Smackdown was taped a few hours ago at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. And so were a few matches for WWE Main Event! So let’s take a look at what happened there quickly:

  • Titus O’Neil and Jack Swagger defeated Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas
  • Apollo Crews defeated Viktor
  • Alberto Del Rio defeated Zack Ryder

Right, on with the Smackdown then. Here are the match results, so spoilers and all that:

Kevin Owens defeated Cesaro

Owens got a roll-up pin win on Cesaro, who was distracted by ringside shenanigans involving The Miz and Sami Zayn in the opening Smackdown match.

Dana Brooke defeated Paige

A quick match as Dana Brooke continued her winning streak with a win over Paige. Becky Lynch was ringside with the Smackdown commentary team for this bout.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Sheamus

After Ziggler got the win, Baron Corbin appeared to trash-talk the Show-Off about how he’s going to get an ass-kicking at Extreme Rules on Sunday.

Chris Jericho was in the ring

And he was there to cut a promo on Dean Ambrose, while the Ambrose Asylum cage hung over him. A cage which began to lower down on Jericho, as Ambrose shed his disguise as a ring crew worker and pounced on Y2J with a kendo stick.

Big Cass and The New Day defeated The Vaudevillains and The Dudley Boyz

The big tag team match ended with Big Cass securing a pinfall victory on Bubba Ray Dudley.

Roman Reigns vs. Luke Gallows ended in a DQ

As usual, chaos broke out between the Bullet Club and The Usos. Referees attempted to pull Karl Anderson, AJ Styles and The Usos apart, until only Styles was left in the ring with Reigns. Reigns grabbed a steel chair, but Styles landed a Pele kick on him and proceeded to demolish his spine, ending Smackdown with the phenomenal one standing tall before this Sunday’s Extreme Rules event.

  1. Are you shitting me?
I stopped reading this site regularly as the quality of content and articles has decreased over time, with more than half the articles being about e-sports, gadgets or random shite.
And now I come back to see articles on fucking WWE, are you catering to the under 10 crowd now, or the severely mentally retarded?
I mean what the actual fuck are you thinking, this is a gaming focused site, yes there is always room for expanding yourself, but WWE, you really have no care for your site or the people who read it.
And if this nonsense is actually requested by the readers, the thank Allah that I am no longer part of that community.
    So sad…..

What’s really sad is that you feel that you have to throw a tantrum because LG post’s about something you don’t like. If you don’t like WWE don’t read the article, simple as that. There’s still plenty of gaming news on the site to cater to everyone’s needs.

I taught my 4 year old from a early age that tantrums are wrong…

Not a tantrum the poster has a valid point. Why would you Post Articles about such trivial bullshit as WWE on a Gaming Website… I too have been visiting this website far less than than i did in the past because this isn’t a gaming website anymore its a just a bunch of ppl posting facebook quality bullshit. esports and gadgets i get.. esports all the rage now.. and as gadgets go i guess gamers like gadgets, but WWE come on seriously. WTF.

The way you post it, it comes across as commenting and raising a point. The OPs way of posting comes across as a tantrum post. I understand the point – I normally go to the WWE site if I want to catch up as they have videos as well. Do not understand the reason why it is here, but then again I just skip them if I don’t want to read them rather than posting a swear-filled rant.
