Taped at the TD Garden Arena in the state of Boston, the March 24 episode featured Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles as the road trip to Wrestlemania began entering its final stretch. Here’s what happened on Smackdown.

Sasha Banks defeats Charlotte

A non-title match, that ended when Sasha countered the Figure Eight lock with a quick roll-up for the three-count.

Sheamus defeats Kofi Kingston

The ongoing feud between the League of Nations and the New Day continued, with both stables cutting promos before kicking off a singles match between their members. The usual back and forth action that night, but victory would belong to Sheamus after he landed a Brogue Kick on Kingston. With a little help from Rusev and King Barrett of course. Dastardly.

The Usos defeat The Ascension

A quick match for the night, that ended with Viktor receiving a double superkick, and a post-match top-rope splash through tables on Konnor as well as the Usos emerged triumphan on Smackdown

Backstage

The Dudleys are being interviewed by Renee Young on Smackdown completely savaging any and all Samoans who have ever appeared in the WWE. While Roman Reigns is standing behind them. Cue the OOOOOOOOHHH cat GIF, as Reigns wants a fight with Bubba Ray Dudley put on the match card for the night.

Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler defeat The Miz and Kevin Owens

The Intercontinental Championship game carried on, as Owens worked his heel magic and attempted to leave the match. Sin Cara, Stardust and Zack Ryder were having none of that however, and decided to blatter Owens back into the ring where The Miz hit the Skull-crushing Finale on KO. Zayn would come out of nowhere and land the Helluva Kick for the win however, triggering a proper brawl between the IC contenders that left Ryder the last man standing over a crushed Owens.

Roman Reigns vs Bubba Ray Dudley ends in a Double count out:

Quickly going outside the ring the second the bell was rung, Reigns and Bubba Ray Dudley brawled through a count out that saw both of the Dudley Boys massacred.

AJ Styles defeats Tyler Breeze

A pinfall victory in a short match that went to Styles after he hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Tyler Breeze.

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are in the ring

Paul Heyman and his client BUUUUURRRRRRROCK LEEEEEEEESNAR are in the Smackdown ring now, cutting their promo on how Dean Ambrose is going to be hit so hard that his actual dreams will die at Wrestlemania 32. The Wyatt Family decides to interrupt, surrounding the ring and getting ready for a daily dose of vitamin suplex, before Dean Ambrose makes an appearance.

It’s classic impromptu action as Lesnar and Ambrose team up, but Ambrose decides to clear the ring by nailing Lesnar with a kendo stick. Lesnar is having none of that, and decides to hit Ambrose with an F5 that brings Smackdown to a close for the night.
