Sadly I was not able to make the movie this time due to a real excuse, not that totally fake one I made up to avoid 50 Shades of Black… I mean, Alwynne, no, I was REALLY busy boet, promise! Well this time it sounds like our community meet up movie was all sorts of fun!
Had a couple of laughs, the movie didn’t take itself too serious and had some good action scenes and some fan service. – The Avo. 3/5
Really loved the movie, was surprisingly funny thanks to Matt Smith. – Andre Ferhelst 4/5
It could have been the company. Or the vodka beforehand. But I got to the end of the movie, and a strange thought struck me… I honestly believed that I had just witnessed a genuinely good movie. Not brilliant. But it felt like an actual movie. A fun, charming, enjoyable movie with some great cheek and mild social commentary. Like a real movie. A REAL movie, called Pride & Prejudice & Zombies… How did that even happen? – Kyle Durston. 3/5
Regency era romcom spiced up with zombie slaying action: tons of fun! Gets 3 out of 5 zombie brains from me 😀 – Ruandre Janse Van Rensburg
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was really cool, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It had just the right amount of action, suspense, comedy and even a bit of romance. I honestly didn’t know what to expect but with all these combined it was a good watch! I would therefore rate it a 4/5 ! – Samantha Davids
The best part of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies wasn’t the fact that it was a Pride and Prejudice Movie with Zombies. It was the fact that it was a Zombie movie with a cast that would have done justice to a “proper” Pride and Prejudice film. From seeing Mary being her introverted self at the parties to the excitement of Mr Collins upon finding out that it was Mr Darcy who had the grace of breaking his antiques, the film managed to remain as true to the characters of the book as it was possible. For that reason I would give it a grade of 5, with an extra dose of brains and pantaloons. – David Fourie
Well would seem many of you really enjoyed it and that warms my heart! Thanks again to Times Media Films for a great evening out.
