343 Industries To Breathe New Life In To Halo?

Halo343

Bungie, as you’re all well aware will no longer be associated with the Halo franchise that made them. No, that duty has fallen to 343 Industries, the studio Microsoft set up to fill those rather large shoes.

The question most have is whether 343 will play it safe, creating Halo titles not too unlike the current ones – or of they’ll try and evolve the beloved franchise, one of the largest in gaming today. Judging from a job listing, it looks like it might be the latter.

“Microsoft’s’ 343 Industries is looking for exceptional talent to help breathe a fresh vision into a new Halo experience,” say the listing, hinting that Halo is up for more than just a facelift.

“We are looking for a highly-qualified candidate for the position of Senior Technical Artist. The Senior Technical Artist will play a significant role in establishing and maintaining the production pipelines. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with Art and Development teams to help bring our story alive and push the medium forward.”

Intriguing, and I’m glad that, for now, it seems like the next Halo isn’t going to be a carbon copy of the last Halo. Still, it might be a case of the infant studio trying to run before it can walk.

I love that marine idea ad I have thought about that for awhile.
However, I do not like the idea of 3rd person. I think 3rd person is cool SOMETIMES, but not for the whole game.
Also, it would be nice to give your character a face… >_>
and halo NEEDs zombies. That is what made it stand out in the first one. Putting the flood right in the middle of things was an amazing idea! imagine being apart of a regular marine squad and having to fight the FLOOD! That would be true badassery…
