While this is still a rumour, as a fan of the series I sincerely hope it is true. Remade in 2010 on the Nintendo Wii and DS, the game got it start way back in 97 on the Nintendo 64 and sold over 8 million copies worldwide. Success much?

Now almost 14 years later, it has been discovered that a number of domain names have been registered by Activision that suggest a reboot of the widely popular series is on the way. Hit the jump for more info.

Discovered by Superannuation, the multiple domain names point to something called ‘GoldenEye 007 Reloaded’, however all are currently inactive.

Domain 1, Domain 2, Domain 3, Domain 4

The eagle-eyed spy then pointed out that at Sony’s E3 conference, a 007 logo appeared under ‘IP in development’ for PlayStation Vita.

I am not sure where I was when this screen appeared, but regardless I am very excited to jump back into the role of Bond and now even more so that the Vita is involved.

Hold thumbs and keep checking the site more more news on ‘GoldenEye 007 Reloaded.
