Alone in the dark

So earlier this year the PS3 fans were heavily disappointed to find out that their version of Alone in the Dark had been delayed until November… a good 5 months after it was released on every other platform.

However this may end up being a blessing in disguise for PS3 fans as Atari have admitted they are now busy enhancing the gameplay and fixing some bugs on the PS3 version.

The 360/PC and Wii versions were roundly acclaimed for nearly getting it all perfect but in the end leaving everyone slightly disappointed with the results.

The main complaints were around the control system and I am sure with just a little tweaking Atari could get it absolutely perfect… Or is that another kiss of death on my behalf for a decent game?

How about a patch for the people that already have the game!?!This game has killed my confidence in pre-ordering games. 👿

Used to be that getting a game 2nd was a bad thing, but more and more this generation Devs have used patches as an excuse to release substandard games that they’ll fix later.

This is something i’m not too happy with this gen.

Now you get a game 2nd and you’re happy cause it’s got less bugs and better visuals. They should do it right the first damn time.

I’m actually enjoying the game. It’s really not as bad as everyone said. I just dunno how they can improve on the controls. The problem is that there’s just too many things to do and fitting it on a controller can’t be easy.
They might wanna work a bit on the driving scenes tho.
And pausing when you open the inventory would be better. In theory the real-time inventory system sounds cool, but in practise it’s just frustrating. Especially when you’ve got 3 guys attacking you while you’re fiddling around in your coat.
