  1. To all those that voted for The Witcher 3 – Most Anticipated Game. YES. Fuck a Batman game. Give us The Witcher 3.

Don’t support DRM. The Witcher 3 is coming.

batman arkham knight is far better than the witcher 3 because I think the witcher 3 is going to suck and batman will be a kick ass of a game loser.

I only have two Winners I don’t agree with.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a superior Shooter to Farcry 4.

And… I’m fine with DA:I winning GOTY, but shouldn’t it then be disqualified from RPG of the year?

I mean, It’s from what I’ve read pretty damn good, but Divinity is a better RPG, imo…

If you look back at the games that were released this year, not that many were GOTY quality .. really. Look at the other nominations …

Bayonetta 2, Dark Souls 2, Mordor, Smash Bros …. All have High Metacritic scores too as well as high user scores….I don’t think there was a lack of great titles for the running. Hell Bayonetta 2 is 91 on both critic and user score

winning one category shouldnt disqualify you from winning others.
if its the game of the year, then its also the RPG of the year.

by that logic, one movie cant get 4 oscars in different categories, an actor that is actor & director/producer cant win more than one award.

its a mark of their success and that should be recognised.

I am a big fan of both games and I feel sorry for Larian Studios because it feels like they were robbed, Divinity Original Sin is a damn good RPG game but I think because it is not a game for everyone they lost that edge when DA: I came out. (turned based RPGs do not get that much recognition these days)

      DA:I is awesome

The Game Awards was ok. Not perfect but going in the right direction. I just wonder if Nintendo helped with the show because Geoff Keighley couldn’t have paid for it all. Nintendo and Reggie featured a lot. Even down to Koji Kondo opening the show and rocking out with Imagine Dragons.

the day when nintendo gets best dev, super smash bros gets best fighter and mario kart gets best racer, is a sad day for AAA gaming.
farcry 4 is a controversial choice for best shooter, when its exactly the same as farcry 3. moreso than CoD:AW is the same as all the other cods.
walking dead season 2 loses out for best narrative? lol
LOL, newbee gets a nomination for the fan award for esports team of the year, did any of those fans even watch the TI4 finals where GGs were called 15 minutes in? navi and team secret not even worth a mention? funny stuff.
dendi and notail not even being mentioned for esports player of the year? i thought this was fan based?
