I wouldn’t blame you for mistaking Animal Crossing: City Folk for Animal Crossing on GameCube and maybe even Wild World on DS. This GameVideos comparison video lets you see the three games in motion and in quick succession.
It’s obvious that the GameCube and DS games don’t quite have the crispness that City Folk does but Nintendo really could have put some more effort in here. It’s all too often lately that Nintendo seem to be relying on the Wii’s play mechanics more than making any sort of graphical enhancements to improve on the previous iterations. If the Wii is more powerful than a Gamecube, why are we not seeing it?
