Well yesterday I posted about the most recent Japanese sales where the PS3 was doing very badly indeed.
Well not to be outdone by the Japanese the Americans have recently announced their latest sales data for the month of April… Yes they are further behind we all realise that..
Anyway back to the point
Nintendo Wii: 360K (2.5 million total)
Sony PlayStation 2: 194K (38.2 million total)
Microsoft Xbox 360: 174K (5.4 million total)
Sony PlayStation 3: 82K (1.3 million total)
I have left the PS2 in there to show you how many people are not interested in the next gen yet at all… Possible PS3 sales still to come?
So what have we got here, the Wii outsold the Xbox 360 by about 2.5:1 and the Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 by 2:1…. Which means the Wii has completely hammered the PS3 into submission in 2 of the biggest gaming areas in the world.
Strange that Sony are no longer making fun of the Wii now isn’t it?
