Now that Gears of War: Judgment is actually out and you’ve all been playing the really good Survival and Overrun modes, perhaps with a dash of free-for-all – perhaps now is the time to try and entice more of you to join Xbox South Africa’s upcoming Gears of War Tournament. Kicking off next month (giving you time to brush up on those Gnasher skills), the tournament gives you the opportunity to win some pretty awesome prizes.

You’ll be able to enter either as a solo combatant or as part of a four-man team in free-for-all or Team Deathmatch respectively. The Tournament begins on April 12 for lone entrants, and the next day for teams – and from there, it’s a battle to prove your mettle as the top Gears of War players in South Africa.

I believe they have closed the servers for Gears 3 or something. Will those teams be giving this a shot? Would be nice to think that they are.
