As well all know, Borderlands is hitting next week and it’s trailers all tout 87 Bazillion guns, pretty much meaning that there are tons of different combinations for all of the weapons.

Alex Hutchinson, Creative Director of Army of Two: The 40th Day has said that the gun customisation is going to be pretty crazy with “over a million combinations of guns”.

UGO Gamesblog reports the following:

“The sequel to the 2008 bro shooter Army of Two shows promise in the many ways you can alter the game’s guns. Want a screwdriver bayoneted G36C with a AK-47 barrel, a shotgun handle and some stylish leopard print? Consider it done.”

I don’t know about you, but a screwdriver bayonet sounds like all kinds of awesome. So obviously from the quote above we can see that in Army of Two you will really be able to go to town with your weapons.

Unlike Forza 3’s Dan Greenwalt, Alex Hutchinson isn’t trying his utmost to bad-mouth the competition and instead said that he was excited to play Borderlands to see what all the fuss was about.

Good on you Mr. Hutchinson
