Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Review Round Up and Launch Trailer

The latest entry in the stabby-stealth Assassin’s Creed series has gotten its stateside release – and reviews have started going live. I’ll be honest in saying that I loathed the first game, a beautiful tech-demo with an interesting story , but mere hints of actual gameplay. The sequel was much better; it expanded and extrapolated ideas from the first – becoming a fully-fledged game.

When Brotherhood was announced, it seemed like a simple cash-in; the same main character in the same setting, only with multiplayer shoe-horned in. Judging by reviews though, that’s not the case at all. It’s been getting pretty exceptional reviews – even a surprising perfect score from the usually miserly Eurogamer, who’ve called it “one of the best games of 2010.”

Hit the jump for the review round up – and the single and multi-player launch trailers, which should whet your appetite for the game. Assassin’s Creed : Brotherhood will be available in stores on PS3 and Xbox this Friday, 19 November – with a PC version to follow in the new year.

AC2 was one of the best games last year , so this was always a must have.
