Looks like that story from yesterday was bang on the money. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation will be making a jump from handheld to High definition next year. And it’ll have some mobile company along for the ride.

Previously a PS Vita exclusive, Liberation HD will boast extra missions, enhanced gameplay, new orchestral sounds and of course HDier visuals when it reaches PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 next year.

Starring Aveline de Grandpré, the game ran as a parrallel adventure to Connor’s adventures in Assassin’s Creed 3. And butter me up, because I’m on a roll with my prediction from yesterday about Assassin’s Creed”: Pirates being a more naval game.

Pirates will be hitting Android and iOS devices later this year. Polygon says that the game will run in the same time period as Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, but won’t be linked to the storyline of that bigger game.

You’ll play as Alonzo Batilla, a young pirate with an axe to grind against both the Templars and the Assassins as he seeks hidden treasure.

Looks like it’s a good time to be an Assassin’s Creed fan.

I don’t know man, AC4 looks sooooo good!!! You can harpoon whales…. That alone makes me want it (Not for the cruelty of it, but for the experience… Would never hurt a whale in real life… I hate it that we have to say these type of things these days)

I am always a big advocate of female leads in games as a matter of fact I think they should have made her the lead for AC4 instead of that other guy as her story seems so much more interesting.
