BanjoKazooie

One of my favourite games of all time, the original N64 hit Banjo-Kazooie will make its furry and feathered way onto the Xbox Live Arcade on November 26, reports EvilAvatar. The release is set to compliment the announced November 14 release of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.

Those who preorder Nuts and Bolts will be able to download the original on XBLA almost two weeks before its release, so the November 26 date is only for those who buy it separately. As for weather that holds true for us here in South Africa is rather doubtful.

The game will cost 1200 MS Points, but it’s probably the largest release on XBLA so far and as an added incentive, it features the “Stop N’ Swop” functionality (not to be confused with “stop and pop”). By playing the Arcade game, players can unlock extra content in Nuts and Bolts. The N64 sequel Banjo-Tooie will also release on the Xbox Live Arcade early 2009. I’m not sure yet if it will also feature Stop N’ Swop unlockables for Nuts and Bolts, but it certainly seems likely.

This would make a lot more money if it was on Virtual Console. People only buy Xbox for play games like Halo, and it seems like nearly everyone else here on the Internet who plays a 360 does that.

A VC release would get those Nintendo fanboys happy and actually give M$ a profit on a game for once.
