Banjo-Kazooie debut footage

So the Internet has gone nuts with the release of the debut footage for Banjo-Kazooie…

This title has a lot riding on it for the Xbox 360 and so far its reception has been very warm indeed… however I am just not convinced. I really didn’t think much of this video and while some parts look quite cool I have a strange feeling they are going to get it wrong.

I just feel that it is going to be slightly to difficult for kids to play and just to easy to challenge an adult. This is possibly the biggest problem with the 360 at the moment, there are virtually no games at all for kids.

I am hoping that I am completely wrong on this one but only time will tell I guess.

The little LBP like creation tool is intriguing though.

I thought I saw some motion controller action in this video… but Shane Kim has denied the motion controllers existence…. they seem to be heading towards voice activation instead 🙁

Could that voice activation be linked to that other “Lips” rumor?

I think it looks absolutely awesome, I can’t wait!

I feel spoiled rotten. BK, Gears2 & Fable 2, my budget for the last quarter is already spent, and I haven’t even considered the third part must haves. 😥

This game looks terrible, isn’t it supposed to be a platformer? But then again RARE hasn’t made a good game since the 1990’s.

It’s not “supposed” to be anything, you’re just jealous 😉 It looks way more interesting than that arbitrary 2D platformer LBP. 😛

And lay off Rare, they’re doing good, contrary to what the jilted Nintendo fanboys want the world to believe they’re making great games. Kameo and Viva Pinata are both excellent.
