So far, I’ve done a pretty good job this year in not buying any collector’s editions for video games. Why, if it wasn’t for several lawsuits, I’d be flush with cash from my recent games industry bribes with which to splurge on these super-duper packs! And it looks like Batman Arkham Origins is joining the special edition club.
Arkhamverse found the following image of a collector’s edition, that lines up with previous pay extra versions of Batman games. It looks like this collector’s edition will include:
- A 23cm tall statue of Batman and the Joker
- Arkham Origins art book
- Two exclusive DLC codes
- Holographic collector’s box
- A unique 3D metal game case
Looks legit to me. But I’m more worried about the recent trend of games that include Batman, having collector’s edition statues inside that feature him choking, or being choked. Is there something that you’re not telling us Batman? Why is there a belt hanging from the top of your cupboard? Why do you watch so many David Carradine films lately? C’mon Bruce, we’re all friends here…
Batman Arkham Origins will be out on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and yes other platforms as well. I am the Bat-twat.

This is sad, as a Pc gamer I want this game so much. But Trevor….who rips off Batman.?!? The last guy who yelled “SCREW YOU!” to Batman was Gerald Llemstein. Do you know who that is Trev? Every heard of him?

The game is coming out on a lot of platforms, including PC, but I think the CE is for Xbox and PS3 only. Can anybody confirm?
EDIT: Official site shows regular editions on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, Wii U and 3DS.
