Given the current track record of movie to game adaptations, I am pessimistic to say the least on developer Saber Interactive’s port of the upcoming Battle: LA movie.
Take a bunch of Marines, a dash of blood thirsty aliens and a country that seems to be very susceptible to alien invasions and you get the backbone of the movie/game.
Hit the jump for the first gameplay trailer of the upcoming FPS.
“Players will battle unique and varied enemies, using an arsenal of weapons throughout the game like an assault rifle, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, frag grenades, and a turret gun as they navigate the streets of Los Angeles avoiding fierce and relentless attacks,” says Konami, who’s publishing the title.
The game will release on Steam and other download portals for PC, and via PSN for PS3 on March 22.
