Those of you who pre-ordered DICE’s upcoming shooter Battlefield 3 on EA’s Origin service or bought the Medal of Honor Limited Edition, you’ve probably been bragging to your friends that you’re already in the Battlefield 3 Beta…if you’ve managed to download its 4GB payload, that is. Well, your gloating time is coming to an end – because the public beta kicks off tomorrow.
That’s right folks; you’ll be able to get in on the public beta from tomorrow, no matter which platform you choose to play on. It also gives you a chance to compare the 3 versions and see which you’d rather spend your hard earned money on.The Beta ends on October 10th – so you won’t have much time to muck about on the battlefield, but those of you who get addicted (and there will be many) won’t have to wait too long – the game hits retail towards the end of October.
To download the public beta tomorrow, just hit up your digital storefront pertaining to your platform. It’ll show up on the PSN Store, Xbox Live Marketplace and EA’s Origin Store tomorrow. From early reports, it seems the PC version is indeed quite superior – so it’s probably the one to go for if you have the specs to handle it.
