Better farming this week in Diablo III

mmmm more cabbage

If it’s one thing I truly despise about Diablo 3, it’s how addictive it can be. Just one more rift, one more! I’ve managed to shrug off the urge to KILL ALL THE THINGS for the meantime, but I know Blizzard have their ways of pulling players back in. Got a copy of the Ultimate Evil Edition? Check out the buffs you’ll have access to this week, and prepare to be sucked in once more.

Here’s what you can expect (via Battle.Net):

PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360:
Prepare to be enlightened. For a limited time, enjoy a +100% bonus to EXP! This bonus will stack with other existing bonuses in the game including (but not limited to) those provided by items, shrines, and Pools of Reflection.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One:
Double your treasure, double your fun. For a limited time, all Treasure Goblin spawns in the game have been doubled!

Personally, I think the older generation console owners have the better option. I’ve gotten very little legendary return considering how many damn treasure goblins I have killed in my time. Either way, you can expect even MORE loot or some faster levels on your character (depending on your console), which is always nice.

I opened up the PC version to see if there was some unannounced buff, but sadly, there is no love for the Master Race this week. The Ultimate Evil Edition buffs will last until Friday, 12:00 am PDT (which is… some time on Friday). Are you still playing Diablo? Of course you are! The 5 seconds I spent with mine this morning already has my click finger itching to go farming.

  1. I find D3 the perfect “pick up/ put down” game. I play it for a while then move on. When I come back nothing has changed except the paragon levels of my friends. D3 is a very fun social game but it never holds my attention for long.

I keep looking for a copy in the second-hand section, but no luck yet. Really want to try this with my gf in co-op.

I usually see it as a good thing if I can’t find something there. But I want it!

PS4 and Xbox buff is better. Once you get the Greed Portal to spawn, and get Boon of the hoarder, you gold problems are gone. You also get 3 – 4 legs for killing the boss. Believe me, that’s a better buff than quick levelling.
