BioShock 2 PC DLC is FINALLY available

About three weeks ago, the “Protector Trials” DLC arrived on Games For Windows Live. It wasn’t supposed to, but people didn’t know that; they just bought it anyway even though it was meant to be free.

So 2K dropped the ball, apologised and pulled the content from the Marketplace, which is a good thing because it didn’t work at all. Now, however, the “Protector Trials” is officially available on GFWL Marketplace, more than a year after the game’s release and more than six months after the same DLC was available for consoles.

The good news is that the “Protector Trials” DLC is free, whereas console gamers had to pay for it. There’s still no news on when we can expect “Minerva’s Den” to arrive on PC, but at this rate we’ll all be playing BioShock Infinite before we get to return to Rapture in additional single-player DLC.

The “Protector Trials” DLC is 960MB big and includes some updates for the game in general.
