I hated Fallout 4’s base-building twaddle. It always really felt like hastily tacked-on busywork to me, and if I wanted to play something like Sim City, Minecraft or Rust…well, I’d play those games.
I get it though. I understand that many are drawn to inventory management and building, and that’s cool, because it means you end up with some incredible stuff. This, a recreation of Bioshock Infinite’s floating city of Columbia, built within Fallout 4, is exactly that – incredible. Built by Girlplaysgame, the whole thing is made possible through a series of mods and some amazing building skills.
I honestly have no idea how people manage to do this sort of thing given how godawful the settlement building interface is, but there it is.
