BioShock Patch Causes Massive Framerate Issues – Rumour

I can’t find anymore information to back this up but apparently if you accept the latest BioShock patch you will start to suffer massive framerate issues. Which will render the game virtually unplayable.

To get around this they say you need to clear the cache by going into the system blade, highlighting the hard drive. Push Y for maintenance and then XX LB RB XX… This should remove the patch…

Like I said it’s a rumour still but we wouldn’t want you to suffer so I thought I would post it anyway…

Well…I’m not too sure about that. I downloaded the patch last night and it runs perfectly fine for me. What does the patch fix, anyway…?

Same here, got the patch. Not a single issue what so ever.
I do see that there is a ‘stable frame rate’ option under Options. new/old?

As soon as I got the game it got patched. Didnt notice any slowdown issues, just trying to survive the first Big Daddy on Hard makes the worry about other things!

I have downloaded the patch and my game runs like crap now. So I gotta remove it.
