Stock up on essential supplies, ship your kids off to boarding school and sign the divorce papers already, oh faithful Diablo 3 players, because it looks like Blizzard is finally ready to let the public get a taste of its upcoming dungeon crawler. Speaking to VG247, Blizzard has confirmed that the time for the Beta is “Very closeâ€.
“We’re getting very close to starting the closed public beta test for Diablo IIIâ€, Blizzard told VG247. You might start seeing some new reports about the beta client as we’ve begun limited external testing with employees and their families, and there is no non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for that. We look forward to sharing more info about the beta test in the near future. Stay tunedâ€.
If you’re one of the lucky few who have been gallavanting around digital crypts slaying demons and the undead, then you can finally start talking about it. Blizzard has confirmed that beta testers are now “Free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the beta content to which you have access, as this beta test is not confidentialâ€.
Some leaked footage has found its way onto Youtube, which you can watch here, thanks to Diablofans.
Diablo 3 has no official release date yet, but estimates point towards 2012 for the long awaited release from Blizzard.
