Bloodborne tgs 1

After my behind closed door session for Bloodborne at Gamescom, I realized just how much of a genius Bloodborne director Hidetaka Miyazaki is. The game is going to be insane, not just for Dark Souls fans, but for newcomers, too. Tokyo Game Show dropped a whole bunch of new info for all of our enjoyment.

First things first, Bloodborne will be coming Friday, 6 February 2015. Weird release day of the week – it’s not following our usual North American and EU timings, but it works for me; now I know what to get my husband for Valentine’s Day. Here is the all new trailer:

I love the grotesquely beautiful aesthetic that From Software achieves and the vaguely steam punk/Victorian design works perfectly. The game looks absolutely terrifying; I have a feeling I will become even more despondent (in a good way) from this game than I did from Dark Souls 2. It’s just so… dark.

The US version of the PlayStation Blog has also announced the Bloodborne Collector’s Edition, although it’s not nearly as impressive as I’d have hoped. Yes, I love a steel book, art book and the soundtrack, but it just doesn’t seem like a Collector’s Edition to me without a figurine. C’mon From Software, give me a horribly terrifying figurine for my collection.

Bloodborne CE

Are you excited for the latest terrifying creation? Are you prepared to die? Here are some more screens to make your eyeballs happy; the enemy designs are always so incredible. They get more and more twisted as you descend into the game – I can’t wait to see all the horrors.

This game is quite possibly the darkest, grimmest thing that my eyes have beheld… its beautiful.

I cant stress enough how easy and user friendly it is in Destiny to join a friend on a mission. If Bloodborne and others can follow suit then there is no reason why online gaming can’t work. (for consoles)

I mean look at Dark Souls 2 “Other human players and a few specific NPCs can be summoned for cooperative play. A host can summon a maximum of two friendly phantoms from either white or gold summon signs. These
signs are placed by other players using a White Sign Soapstone or Small White Sign Soapstone.”

Sure if you maybe have a degree of sorts in Dark Souls 2 you would know what that means. The laymen would have to Google all of that to make sense of it and maybe the game is supposed to work like that, I just hope Bloodborne makes it a bit easier

From all the prison-based movies I’ve seen, nothing friendly is ever summoned by dropping soap.

LOL, Dark Souls is so bad ass, you need to drop soap to get attention.

The only game that will get me to buy a console is GTA. But after playing Dark Souls 1 (not 2), Bloodborne could get me to buy a console. But the game is being released in Feb 2015. That’s The Witcher 3 launch month. When I’m done playing The Witcher 3’s 100 hours campaign and replaying it a few times, I might forget about Bloodborne by then. But should it should be cheap by the time the next GTA gets released.

The Order also launches then, even though everyone already thinks it’s gonna be crappy. Should still be interesting.

Well the Order if you need something to shoot at. But I don’t see it doing well when compared to 2 good RPG’s. PS4 in Feb will be getting really good.

And then continues to show him how the game works for 100 hours after he opened his prezzy.

This makes me super sad that I don’t own a PS4. I LOVED the Dark Souls games.

The system seller for the PS4. Nothing Microsoft has even approaches this game in terms of a system seller. Poor MS. Paid all that money for Titanfall, got nothing for it.

Then again, they did just buy Minecraft only to make it for every system. They’re clearly not operating at full capacity…
