Bloodborne’s password matching restrictions have been lifted

If you own both The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne, you very possibly don’t need to buy another game all year. Both of those should keep the average human being entertained for months to come. It’s important – because both primarily offer a single player experience. Yes, Bloodborne does have a sort of, kinda multiplayer mode that requires blood sacrifices and black magic to get working properly. It’s apparently just gotten a whole lot easier.

Sony’s released a brand new patch for Bloodborne – 1.04 – and while there are no English patch notes available, the Japanese ones suggest that that the password matching has had a few changes to make things a little easier. According to Dualshockers, they were on the money regarding the latest patch notes:

  • Password matching can now be done regardless of level.
  • Password matching can now be done even if registered to a different oath.
  • Quicksilver bullets and blood vials can now be stored up to 600 (the previous limit was 99) in the storage in Hunter’s Dream.
  • Weapons and hunter tools have been tweaked, it will be mostly buffs.
  • A bug of the Rifle Spear has been fixed.
  • A bug with Blood Gem Imprints has been fixed.
  • Boss rewards in the Chalice Dungeons will be improved, they will now drop blood gems randomly.
  • Chalice dungeons will now include Blood Stone Shards at Depth 1, Twin Blood Stone Shards at Depth 2, Twin Blood Stone Shards and Blood Stone Chunks at Depth 3, Blood Stone Chunks at Depth 4 and Blood Stone Chunks and Blood Rocks at Depth 5.
  • Other bugs have been fixed.

You’re no longer stuck matching up with friends who’re within the same level region, and bound to the same oath as you – which should make the game’s odd co-op adventures a little easier to organise.

Wait wait, so now we can co-op without a level cap? DAMN, this is amazing. I was a month ahead of a friend of mine and we couldn’t co-op because I was like lvl 80 and he was still around the 40 region. Great news!!

“blood vials can now be stored up to 600” Goodbye grinding. Also the MP is rather silly. Why you have to be returned to your world regardless of who dies makes zero sense.

It has lower requirements than I expected.
I guess I won’t have to “deal” with all the people on The List.

Also, just so you know, you are on The List but near the end so you don’t have to worry.

I have been on so many lists. The only list I felt uncomfortable on was Justin Bieber’s list…

Happy place, happy place, happy place, happy place, happy place.
DO NOT think about what kind of list Bieber would put @Trevor Matrix:disqus on.

Sweet I need someone to help me at the cathedral anyways. Too lazy to grind, I’m seriously thinking about just deleting the game go offline and do the duplication glitch until im like LVL 200 or something.
