Burnout Paradise Bikes have arrived

The FREE Burnout Paradise DLC has arrived on the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade and I have a feeling this is going to be an exceptionally popular download.

Most of the people I game with stopped playing Burnout a while back but the chatter about the new DLC has been getting louder and now that it is available I am getting spammed by people asking me to download it.

So far it seems like I am the only slob not getting it as I don’t have my copy of Burnout anymore… but I may just go and buy a new copy, it really looks awesome.

However it’s not all good news, apparently the new pack contains some clipping bugs but seriously now… it’s FREE so stop complaining.

450mb later. The bikes look pretty and are helluva fast but they’re pretty useless in anything other than the races and stunt runs. They also do not have those awesome slow motion crash models, you just see the bike bounce backwards and you’re chap has disappeared. I was really hoping for some laugh-out-loud ragdoll effects here. Other than that, the day / night aspect doesn’t really add much.

All in all, I was hoping to find something in the patch that would inspire me to finish the last 50 odd races to fully complete the game but I haven’t 🙁

Note to the editor, erm.. Xbox LIVE Marketplace, not Xbox LIVE Arcade. 😛

I never liked the name marketplace… Arcade just sounds better 😉
