Burnout Paradise coming next month

Easily one of my favourite racing games of all times, Burnout, is making its next gen debut next month.

The annoying drivers licence tutorial is still part of the game however with an added 120 smashable billboards, 120 different stop lights and over 30 square kilometres to explore passing the test may just be worth it…

What I am really looking forward to is the ability to team up with 7 of your mates and take on some of the FreeBurn challenges….

So with this title landing in January are you planning on picking it up?

Definitely picking this up. Looks like there’ll be a decent crowd of us giving shooters a break and driving each other off the roads.

I’m still a little dubious about free roaming driving games, I hated TDU just because your even is ALWAYS at the oooother end of the city. But it’s Burnout, so i’m sure they’ll make it fun.

The only thing that sounds annoying so far is that there’s no quick way to restart an event ala DiRT. You can exit, but then you have to drive all the way back.

Other than that it all sounds awesome, like having to hunt down your new rides instead of just unlocking them.

And getting Live Vision cam pics of your defeated opponents is classic. 🙂
