Call of Duty: Ghosts is headed to the Wii U

Collar Duty

While everyone right now is focused on either the Playstation 4 or Xbox One, the Nintendo Wii U seems to have been forgotten about completely in those circles. And that’s a  damn shame, because the little console has a line-up of games coming that could easily rival those two. And one of them, will be Call of Duty: Ghosts.

Yep, it’s true. The next COD game will be sporting some advanced fishie AI on the Wii U, arriving November 5 for that console. Here’s the official blurb from Activision about it, because it’s cold and pushing Ctrl+v is a helluva lot easier for me right now:

Call of Duty: Ghosts — Featuring an all-new world, story, characters and experiences, all powered by a new engine, Call of Duty: Ghosts is a stunning leap forward for the blockbuster franchise. For the first time in Call of Duty, gamers play as the underdog, fighting as part of a single squad against an enemy that has superior numbers and firepower. Call of Duty: Ghosts‘ genre-defining multiplayer delivers gameplay innovations throughout, including dynamic map events, character customization and other features yet-to-be-announced. The title includes Wii Remote and second-screen Wii U™ GamePad support and more. Call of Duty: Ghosts is scheduled for release on November 5, on Wii U and is not yet rated by the ESRB.

So if anyone tells you that the Wii U has zero games arriving them, then send them threatening tweets about The Wonderful 101, Mario Kart 8 and now, Call of Duty Ghosts. And hopefully this incarnation of the franchise, will see more players taking part.

After all, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 actually had some damn great ideas on the Wii U.

Header WIN! And this good news for the Wii-U, maybe people will start thinking of it less of a fisher price toy, and more of an innovative gaming console.

    WHERE IS STARFOX? METROID PRIME?

Almost forgiving for bringing Bayonetta 2 but never the less, the Wii U is about to be drowned by the other 2 bullies.
