Call of Duty now has a virtual bodyguard agency

There’s a lot of ways to make cash in gaming lately. You can kidnap some random guy from the east, chain him up, and force him to farm gold for greedy World of Warcraft players, or you can gauge how stupid people really are when you sell them virtual real estate.

But for those of us who happen to be kind of terrible at the multiplayer segment of Call of Duty, we need something more than a handy weapon mod or an extra layer of regenerative health. We need someone to watch our back, someone to take a bullet for us when everything goes to hell.

We need a bodyguard.

And that’s where Toby Smith comes in. For the price of only five British pounds, or roughly R65, players can get a whole half hour of game time where Smith will guard your body like a boss.

"I will be your personal online bodyguard for 30 minutes in any of the following shooters on Xbox 360: Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty Black Ops, Halo Reach, Battlefield 1943 and Battlefield Bad Company 2", the posting read on Fivesquids.

"I will be by your side the entire time and will fight for you, keeping enemies away from you, protecting you when you snipe, even SACRIFICING MY LIFE to save yours". Capital letters for emphasis folks, that shows that Smith means business.

But it’s not a bad idea, and its made me think of starting up a Starcraft 2 bodyguard agency made up entirely of elite South Korean players.
