DIY console stuff

PC gamers are spoilt in the sense that customisation options are ridiculously high. Flashing disco LED lights, paint jobs, and case modifications? Groovy baby! Sadly, consoles don’t (for the most part) get access to such cool customisation options. When they get custom collectible versions though, it’s just gosh darn purdy! Microsoft have put together a whopping custom 21 Xbox One consoles, and they are giving them away at San Diego Comic-Con.

You can check all of them out at the Xbox Facebook page (via Destructoid). Sadly, there don’t seem to be any MOBA inspired designs, but I’ve gone ahead and chosen a few consoles for my colleagues. I hope they like them!

One for Zoe

One for Darryn

One for Gav because SPURTS

One for Sandy

One for Geoff... 10 points to whoever can guess why

If you happen to be attending SDCC at some point, you can win any of these custom masterpieces. All you have to do is take a photo of one of them and tweet #XboxOne and #XboxSweeps to stand a chance. What do you think? If you had to choose, which one would you keep for yourself? If none appeal to you, which game would inspire your custom console design?

I wonder if they have a way to make your posts “cool” instead of boring ?.

But those just have custom “skins” so to say? I’d much rather like to see a console mod with more “depth” so to speak

Complimenting a console on a custom paint job is like complimenting a painting on a nice frame.

Pretty sure you can do a few of those yourself, just apply stickers. We need a lazygamer case mod thread. :>
