Last week saw the worldwide release of Call of Duty: Black Ops, and we already know that its first day sales were off the charts.
On Friday, Megarom held its own event to celebrate the release of Black Ops by inviting a whole bunch of us out to a range to learn how to handle some of the real guns that can be found in the game.
AK47’s, pump-action shotguns, magnum revolvers and a couple weapons later, we had taught some target dummies to never, ever screw with us again.
We have a gallery of some of the photos that we took at the event and I have also uploaded two video clips with an AK47 and pump-action shotgun. The event was a whole lot of fun and can thank everyone at Megarom for having us out there for a day of guns, braais and gaming.

Great fun, love going down to the range. Seems there was a Vektor LM (semi) or R (auto) series rifle (7.jpeg) in the mix too. That is basically a licensed ak47 variant used by the SANDF. I doubt that was used in game? Awesome rifle just the same.

The sound of those guns was certainly a wake up call didn’t expect them to sound like that at all…
