Collectibles Corner – The cool exclusives of SDCC 2014

More than rocks the eye

The San Diego Comic Con kicks off this week, and I’ll be attempting to gain egress by sneaking in a disguised as a mint on card life-size Gollum, since tickets are sold out. And while the convention is more about big movie reveals, interviews, panels and cosplay these days, it’s also got a strong market for exclusive figures and collectibles. Here’s a sneak peak at some of the cool ones that have been spotted so far.

I must have that Transformers set. I MUST HAVE IT. I’d sell Matty’s organs to raise the funds that I need in order to own such a hard rockin’ set. There’ll be tons more on sale at SDCC, first come first sever the tendons so that you can climb over the line that is growing thirsty for blood. Most of this stuff will probably also pop up on eBay, where you’ll be charged an arm and a leg for it.

Not that I’ve ever done such a thing. So please do ignore my current Bidorbuy lisitings for some slightly used Duke Nukem Forever underwear that nobody wants to buy right now.

You can always buy a Play Arts Tali action figurine for R5000 instead. 😛

Its become popular to have things you dont need and pay a ridiculous amount for it…ask any hipster. I bet you they’d pay good bucks if you spray a pen bronze and say its a vintage item from the old industrial era

Whoever bought that, I would love to see how much the person spends on Candy Crush

At least there’s an actual product involved. I still remember in late 2000 seeing a PS2 box (just the box, mind you) being sold on Ebay for a few hundred dollars.

    It sold too.

As far as Destiny is concerned, I think sixty bucks is too much for it.

I’m almost tempted to sell it on ebay but I have been waiting for this game and actually looking forward to putting that ghost replica on display, so I’m gonna keep mine.

Hmmm I’m hoping BT games doesn’t turn around and cancel my Ghost edition order. I’m still debating keeping it, selling it or giving it to LG as a cool prize giveaway
