So we’re one day out from our second ever community play night and we’ve forgotten to choose a game. Time to panic and run around like headless chickens.
The last game we chose was Left 4 Dead 2 which was a great experience and there is now a near nightly game of Lazygamer community members playing. If you want to join in then make sure you join our Steam group.
But there were some people who were let down last time because L4D2 is only a 4 player game, or 4v4 at most so the games filled up quickly so this week we want to try something entirely different. The first game chosen by the staff here to be voted for is the entirely non violent and friendly Minecraft. The bonus about Minecraft is that we can find a server that can hold 20 or 30 of us easily so we can really get together.
But at the same time we want to see blood spilled so the second option is Team Fortress 2 which is currently free-to-play on the PC.
So let us know by voting below and yelling at us in the comments. The games start at 7pm on Friday night until we find a better time and I think next week we should give one of the consoles a go?

I just hope it downloads in time. Uncapped is so worth it, especially if you’re streaming from Netflix. I went from 56k dial-up to uncapped 4mb ADSL – my world changed lol.

The numbers don’t matter that much. It’s a chance for the community to get together. Whether it’s the PS4 LG community or the PC LG community. I don’t complain if the PC guys get together, so why should you complain if the PS4 guys have a go at it?

Worst is with ears, and being too young for grommits, and working far away from home having to leave at 5 in morning, returning at 7 at night and then baby only sleeps while you hold her upright (as lowering increases pressure in ears, hurting, waking baby, and forcing you to get her to sleep all over again)
Now, add the fact that it lasted 7 months.

um wow. that’s pretty hectic. I had twins; so the lack of sleep I can probably trump the lot of you – but having to hold a baby upright to sleep because of ears is something else entirely.
Isn’t it amazing what lengths you go to for your children? One of my boys has CP – my medical bills are about a quarter of my annual take-home pay, and my weekends (and my wife’s weekdays) are filled with therapies. But you do what you need to.

I’d say TF2, but is a heck of a download for those that don’t have it yet. It is more fun shooting at people though, so might be a better idea.
Maybe make Minecraft a long term game that runs one night a week for 2 months, as in survival mode it does take quite a while to get enough resources to get a nice town set up etc (please make it out of wood, I will go get buckets of LAVA to run down the streets >:-D

I did have a surge protector, but it cant only handle so much. White phase power dropped completely and the Red and Blue phases picked up the extra 110V, which was just too much for my surge protector.

lol, I joined the steam group, I even tried to find out what was going on in the group chat (which was empty btw) I then tried to add some guys who were in game (Can’t remember names but I think that Chief guy was one of them.) I even joined the mumble server, which only had Kromas in it! We jammed borderlands 2 because trying to join the ‘community’ proved to be futile unless you know someone personally afk. So…. it’s true bud…

So you know that normal games ( Players vs Bots is 4 ppl, and then there is 4v4)
If you are trying to join the games, why not pop a message to the person in steam chat? add them as a friend in Steam, which makes invites easier, or host your own server (if groups for instance are full atm)?

That’s part of the problem with L4D2 – only 4-8 people per game and it’s hard to get everyone into games and whatnot. We are trying to pick easier, bigger games so that the whole community can get involved. please feel free to add me (moonstormer) on steam and pop me a message so I can keep you in the loop when we’re trying to set up games. We’re still quite new at this – not sure how to get all the people to play together 🙂

Will do – steam groups and here is difficult from the office (client site) though, will have to mostly keep it for after hours. A forum is much more discrete and ‘professional’ looking for the shoulder hawks, hence easier to hang out there.
